If it's sun-bleached, I think it will recover just fine. Does the basket have drainage holes? Sometimes leaves can yellow from too much water if roots are always wet, although spider plants are pretty forgiving. As insurance, you could remove a couple of the largest spiders to start a new pot... I like putting 3 into a small hanging basket for almost-instant fullness.

For me, the young spiders are usually curlier than the mother plant.
