AG, nice work. Your latest is the greatest. You are wise to have it displayed at home. Matted and framed, it would fetch a fortune at auction.

Lizzie, I sent my Dear Other a link to that apple cake. He recently made one, with walnuts, that was very tasty. We'll likely give this one a try.

Tom, nice job with the chili stew. Looks great, and I'm betting was mighty fine in the mouth.

Kq, you had a nice feast. I agree with Tom about the oven rather than microwave. From refrigerator to oven at 400*, six to seven minutes will do it.

Dinner for one started with a notion of Caesar salad with salmon. What it ended up being was a seared fillet of salmon finished with butter and capers, served atop a much enhanced Caesar salad (homemade dressing) with rolled anchovies. Keebler Export Soda crackers (recommended) and the last of the chardonnay filled out the meal.
