I had pods maturing. A deer picked off one that I especially wanted. I found the pod but it was not yet opening with teeth marks in the pod and tracks nearby. Seeds are black. I put them in an envelope for drying to see what happens. Not sure how many days it's been. If they look good later, I'll try planting. There was a lily plant also developing on the scape, which the deer left lying on the ground also. What are the chances of the new lily growing if I just put the plant in the ground and water? Also I don't know if my seeds will grow either. So angry at the destruction deer have caused in my veggie garden and now they are getting in my lilies.
