Spiranthes vernalis.....Spring ladies tresses, flowers in spring.
The flowers are small and are in a spiral up the stem.

This mystery plant was successfully Id'd on 14th Oct by janinilulu as Schoenocaulon

I don't think it's Chamaelirium either, but using that as a starting point I looked around and think it could be a Schoenocaulon (not sure which one).
