I have a ginger plant that is growing from a grocery store ginger. I can see a new ginger tuber coming just above the soil. We are expecting our first strong cold front in Williamson county, Texas. Don't live in the Hill Country. Does it need protecting? Lows tonight are expected to be in the 40's.
