Nice illustrations Karen, I left most of my seed on the flowers for the birds, that is the main reason I choose certain plants. I am trying to get the birds to eat the seeds off the flowers and ween them off the bird feeders, (except winter) This way my yard can become a Habitat instead of a buffet.
