I've had this plant for a number of years...eight, maybe? It is pretty when it blooms and it's pretty early in my garden. It doesn't really do much but it had lots of competition for many years. Now that I'll be paying close attention, as well as watering and feeding, I'll be curious to see if RIS does anything more. I'd say, I probably get a scape or two with maybe eight to ten buds, low to the foliage, but that doesn't really bother me. Maybe I need to move it somewhere where it is easier to see as it isn't very tall.
