Very helpful article about succulents. I have a robust collection of tender succulents I have brought inside for the winter (after debugging), and I have Winterized my winter hardy ones outside.

Sharing this tip I read today elsewhere: Succulents take in water from pores because they are native to dry climates. Oil clogs these pores, so don't use horticultural oils, Neem and the like on succulents.
