Good day all, new member here!

I bought a new property over the summer and am looking for some ideas on what fruit trees/bushes to plant. Once I've got that squared away, I'll wrap my head around other small bushes and flowers to compliment the trees. I'm in Zone 3B.

I've done a fair bit of research and am leaning toward having an apple, self-fertile pear, and a Canadian plum in the front yard (~1800 sq ft, roughly square, south-facing, full sun).
I've got a 3' tall concrete block retaining wall on the north edge of the property, where I'm planning to put in some hazelnut bushes and sour cherries. They'll also get full sun. My main concern with the sour cherries is that their roots will cause problems for the retaining wall.
I've got room for a couple more smallish trees in the back, I just don't know what to go with. My wife loves apricots, but I'm concerned with frost kill on the blooms. If all else fails I'll throw in some evergreen columners.

Does anyone have some suggestions or see anything wrong with the plan? Thanks!
