Loved the article, Sharon. My grandparents also planted by the moon as well as Uncle Frank up in Virginia. He always had a wonderful garden, even though he didn't have a "farm." They lived in town, but always had fresh vegetables and lots of flowers.

As far as memories go, I think one very important thing is to pass on memories of growing up and family to our children. Perhaps that is one reason I am so passionate about genealogy as well as gardening.

Although I will never publish anything, our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will have lots to read as I keep diaries of the trips we have taken and special occasions we have attended.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.
