Temperature: 60-85
Water: water well from the top of the media. If it gets in the crown, dab it dry with a paper towel.
No direct sun!!!! But they need a bright window like east or north.
It is sitting too high up in media, needs to be down 3/4" and media should come up to JUST under the leaves.
Feed weakly once every 3 months.
They LOVE to be repotted, every year is ideal, every 2 years can work. They produce new roots in 6-8 weeks.

With a Phalaenopsis struggling to live, PLEASE CUT THE SPIKES BACK COMPLETELY! Treat with cinnamon.
What ever energy your plant is generating, it needs to go to the roots and leaves, NOT old flower spikes.

My diagnosis, not enough light and maybe went to long between repottings.
