Here's an interesting site that I'd not seen before. About halfway down the page you can pick states to plot out against one another. I chose Oh, Pa, Fl, NY, and NC. Ohio was way worse than Fl and everybody else.

Of course, I guess you have to take into account that Ohio has free testing sites open to anyone and they are everywhere. You don't need a doctor's order, you just show up or you can register online ahead of time. @MISSINGROSIE said her niece the nurse couldn't get a test in NJ, so that would skew the numbers a lot. The more testing being done, the higher the number would be. But the chart at the top of the page gives interesting stuff too, like ICU space used.

Play with it. It's interesting. You can plot your state against any others.
