Lighthouse Gardens I know exactly what you mean about the trumpet vine suckering all over the place. I purchased some brush killer and am determined to kill it this year.

I have been on this site off and on for awhile and should introduce myself. My DH and I have two sons and three grandchildren and one spoiled sheltie. I have been gardening for around 40 years my garden interest have varied over the years. I have tried many varieties of plants and have now settled down to what will do well here some of the varieties have truned into pleasant surprises. I still have plenty of variety in the gardens but now have lots of daylilies Lovey dubby a good number of various lilies that are breathtaking when they bloom, guess you could say there is a little bit (in comparision to my daylilies) of everything else that will grow here in Minnesota. I hope to be able to continue gardening as long as I possibily can hopefully as long as I live. Guess that gives you a big hint how much I love my gardens. Oh yeah I am a big fan of the lily auction and just recently got some more lilies and some new to me irises from a person on this site. I will be taking out or at least thinning out some of my old iris to make room. Big Grin Plus I have more daylilies coming every year I say no more and then get some more anyway. Hurray! Good thing my DH is so tolorant! Thumbs up
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!
