Humming birds are a fav to watch as they fly so fast thru trees and spin around in the air with acrobatic skills so unbelievable until you see them pull off some very tricky stunts.

They are so territorial watching them fly like a helicopter floating in the air in one area guarding their space.

Last summer one tiny hummer was caught between the landing post and the bottle. One wing and head caught between the feeder and landing post. I went out and gently pulled him out. Held him sadly thinking he was a goner didn't move a muscle. Then all of a sudden flew straight up and off, scared 😱 me, yet I was happy he was OK.

From that day on to this day, he is still around thru the winter , he follows me around the yard and watches me like a hawk. He has been my flight Angel , even escorts me down a very long driveway to take the trash out. 🧚‍♀️
I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.”
