Thanks for your thoughts, Ann. I quickly eliminated eBay. B&H had two of what I was looking for and I hesitated for a few hours (to seek some opinions and to write the above post) and they'd both sold when I returned. So it took me a couple of days to learn the ropes.
I found what I wanted on Adorama and am happy to report excellent customer service assistance. I should receive my camera this week, and we'll see.
I'll eventually be looking for accessories and lenses so will also explore MPB. Thanks again.
