Thanks Laurie and Johannian for the interest and approval of this subject. Euphorbias are such an interesting group of plants. I've added the original from which I took the banner as an edit in the first item in the thread. Now I think maybe I should dig up a photo of the entire plant. What you see in the full sized photo is just the tip of one stem of a much larger plant.
