We headed out to the cow field that's about two miles away.. I wanted to get past the trees that surround our property .... I thought we would be alone ......silly....

The scene before us was reminiscent of the well known scene on our Christmas cards... The Star shining brightly ..a sunset on fire dressed in oranges and turquoise...

Only the silhouetted wise men and their camels were not there ... instead the darkened figures were modern man (and woman)....and instead of a shepherd staff — telescopes...

but, we still gather to see miracles.. that doesn't change... and not even COVID can keep us away from a sight not seen in 800 years!

You will have to enlarge these to see the Star.. Jupiter was quite bright and Saturn less so

Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
