Now I just found a compromise recipe for the cheesecake vs apple tart discussion!
If groceries are on sale, they go in the cart, not the trash, even without a specific purpose, at the time!
They usually get used, as you know, even though I have to listen to hubby
when he looks in pantry!
So on the last grocery trip, I acquired a can of Lucky Leaf organic apple filling, no high fructose corn syrup, and GF!
I'm looking for a space for it in pantry, when I spied this recipe on back of can,
Apple Caramel Cheesecake Bars!
So I am getting ideas for when I need to take pot luck dish to work for New Years!
My daughter is coming over with boys while dads (Santas) put the swing set together!
She texted me they are stopping for biscuits on their way over, and bringing me one!
That's the young generation. They eat at home, though do eat differently!
They are more often to stop for a coffee or these GF $$ biscuits!
Yesterday I rode with her and she took a bag of packaged "bars" from the car console!
They carry these packaged "health bars" everywhere, yet didn't eat the taco soup!
My daughter is tall and thin (she takes after her aunt!). She is also dietitian so I can't say much.
They just arrived with the M&M buscuits, so I'm not complaining!
I"ll enjoy the jolly holiday!
