I want to thank everyone for the kind thumbsups, and a huge thank you to @crawgarden, @pod, @Frenchy21, @arctangent, @EscondidoCal, @Fleur569, @lauriemorningglory, and @nmoasis for the wonderful, encouraging comments.

Oleanders were definitely one of my favorite plants, and I spent many years studying them, but unfortunately here in SD we cannot grow them. Definitely a big hole in my heart, but learning new things is going to be fun.

I had twelve oleander bushes ('red cardinal', 'calypso', and 'hardy white'), and they were so beautiful. I just hope that the couple who bought the house take care of them. The man was farmer of the year in San Diego for many years, and he owned a really big farm (that was a company for fruits and veggies), so I think (and hope) he'll do well in taking care of them.

Let’s talk about Animal Fun Facts, Birds, Trees/Shrubs, or Oleanders!
