Vaccinations started here in November. I have always thought it was unwise to vaccinate at the peak of a pandemic. My husband is a doctor. 26 of his colleagues were vaccinated, and after that, 14 of them fell ill with covid. This is not to say that vaccinations are bad. And now there are several different vaccines here. It's just that any vaccination weakens the immune system a little for a while. It is not wise to weaken your immune system in an aggressive covid environment.

But vaccination continues. Those people who didn't get sick got antibodies.

In my family, my husband was the first to fall ill. He received covid in classic form after contact with a sick colleague. A colleague tested positive for covid. After a week of quarantine, the temperature rose. At first it looked like a cold. Then the loss of smell and pneumonia, 25 percent.

Then my son, also a doctor, fell ill. He had symptoms like his father, but he did not lose his sense of smell.

They received a new covid drug, coronavir, and both refused to take it. Because this medication has many side effects.
But there is such a rule here. Each patient receives free coronavir and antibiotics. Antibiotics do not cure, but they hold back development. The husband took antibiotics and he recovered faster than the son. The son did not take antibiotics and he coughed for a very long time. They were lucky because they could control their body temperature with medication.
Some people were unable to lower the temperature.

Both of them were treated at home and I took care of them. All early tests for covid were negative. But the tests here are very bad. An examination of the lungs helped to make the diagnosis, and then they got antibodies.

So, I took care of them without a mask and gloves, because it didn't make sense anymore. I thought I was not sick. I had no symptoms other than eating little and drinking a lot. But this is my usual reaction to stress. Now I donated blood and found out that I also have antibodies. And I was asymptomatic with covid.
My son and I received an offer to become a plasma donor.

Now a new cure for covid has appeared here, but personally, I still cannot say anything about its effectiveness. Probably, it will be clear not earlier than in a month.
The Federal Biomedical Agency has already completed animal studies and is preparing for clinical trials of a new drug for covid. These are synthetic fragments of RNA that can integrate into the RNA of a virus, destroy it and block reproduction. It is a genetically engineered non-toxic drug. For treatment, inhalation will be offered, for prophylaxis after contact - nose drops.
In fact, it is an antidote for coronavirus infection. Preclinical studies completed. The efficiency is over 99%.

The agency is also uploading work on a new vaccine. This activates cellular immunity and may provide longer-term protection against infection. Clinical trials - early next year.
