Oh by the way INTHEHOTOFTEXAS! I'm a beginner in Zone 8a the Dallas area abd I'm trying to grow Strawberry bear roots as well. Got about 80 and 30 look scary (probably dead) 20 I just planted this week and 30 are hanging on. I have know idea how many Strawberries I'll have from all these plants, I just have 3 grandkids that LOVE them. I'm trying to create Berry Lane.
