I agree with Betty. Save a bee pod or better yet make a planned cross. If you have limited space show some restraint [I didn't] and make just one cross and raise just a few. You'll be amazed what surprises you may find. It will be one more thing to look forward to when the iris bloom. Betty's from the same cross are quite different from each other. I would love to try the second one in a cross. It rained here last night and is very cool today so I may not have anything new today. Here is a seedling that bloomed last fall that I have posted before. A grasshopper had been eating it.
