We got this spindly tree from my sister-in-law who didn't know what it was.

It's about six feet tall in a large pot. The mature leaves are of a consistent size and are all close to two inches long.

It appear to be evergreen and has not suffered in light freezes. A plant ID app keeps saying it can't identify it.

A plant ID from phot web site said it was one of two kinds of Leguminosae, but the arrangement of the leaves is wrong. And the leaf shape is not quite right.
