I don't know the plant, but I do know opposite vs. alternate.

The leaflets are in opposite pairs along that plant's leaf midribs (rachis), but the leaves are pinnate compound and arranged alternately along the woody stems of Senna corymbosa - which is a member of Fabaceae (Leguminosae).
