They key to no weeding is very careful preparation of the beds before planting. When I moved to where I live now, I went around four months digging out the two garden beds and getting them ready for planting. All the while my plants are sitting around in pots. About the only things I have to pull are the oak saplings that come from the million acorns my neighbors tree puts out every year. No grass or weeds. I also use a fairly thick layer of mulch.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
