I have also been using landscape fabric to line the bottom of my pots. Easy to cut and shape to cover the holes appropriately. Though I am also experimenting lately using geopots, fabric pots that are porous enough in itself without having to puncture holes at the bottom. But I like landscape fabric, easy to buy in rolls
