Growing in zone 8 north central Fl. These photos were taken this month (April). When the flowers the blooms are very tiny lavender/lt. purplish in clusters in the bloom head. In these photos you can see the seed heads. The leaves always stay on the ground, there are none along stems above the ground. The leaves are very soft velvety hairy both above & underneath.
