They are very curious . Here a link from Colorado a elk stuck in a lawn chair.

The deer here are so tame they don't even run when they see me. I have trained the dogs to chase them out. Still they eat all the buds off plants and flowering plants in the front I now cover in bird mesh. Works really well. But a pain to set up.
