Kq message about chicken and apricot preserves had me checking a recipe from mom's church!
I'm glad I am reminded of recipe since I didn't realize it is easy!
The recipe is for 2 different marinades.
Season chicken with s&p.
Mix dry onion soup mix with
1. An 8 oz bottle Russian dressing
And 1/2 cup apricot preserves
Or
2. An 8 oz bottle French dressing
And 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce.
Marinate chicken over night, bake.
I took pictures of recipe instead of typing. I know ingredients are dark.
If anyone would like it typed I will be glad to type it out. Easy & pleasing!
I am thinking that if you put marinade on rotisserie chicken you won't need to cook 1 hr, maybe 30 mins. Sauce may not be as thick.
This is great for company in the past or Sean's big shindigs now!
