With our near freezing temperature last night, I brought in a handful of plants that were in bloom and/or bud. The blooming ones have been in bloom for 4 weeks or more. Cool weather has prolonged their blooming time. The downside is that those in sheath/bud have slowed down their blooming. The one on the far left is Lc. Prism Palette 'Mischief' AM/AOS, and it is (slowly) opening another flower. Two more stems are in sheath, so this one will be in bloom for at least another month or two. The Blc. Yen Corona 'Green Genius' has just about lost all her color and fragrance. She's been in bloom almost 2 mo. I have another 8-10 varieties in sheath, still out in the lanai with Christmas lights keeping them warm.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
