The pentas were also well established 4' - 5' clumps, it had to be the dehydration. The pond in the backyard provides so much mist during the winter mornings that everything looks wet, I am sure that is why we never realized the sprinklers were not working.

Been raining here all night and this morning, just a light but steady drizzle but that is the best kind of watering. The garden is happy with the weather but my arthritic knee is not so pleased. Whistling
