Sorry about your kitty - I've never had a cat that would munch down on stuff like that, but our cats are all outdoor cats for the most part; who knows what they eat? One thing I learned with a puppy (they'll eat anything) is that if you catch them right afterwards, pour hydrogen peroxide down their throat until they puke. This was advice from a vet, and it worked like a champ after said puppy ate a bunch of fiberglass insulation that would have torn her guts up. I assume it would work for a cat too? Hope your cat recovers with no problems.
