I think the same semp that's often sold as 'Ruby Hearts' is also sold as 'Commander Hay' and is in fact neither of the two, it has some sparse velvet with prominent fringe cilia and comes in shades of brown with hints of purple and green. It's an odd plant, a marmoreum x montanum possibly, wish I knew what it's real name is.

I was thinking of trying 'Black Mini' because it's supposed to be a parent of the great 'Space Dog', but if it's a rotter maybe I should take the hint and skip it. I finally have 'Space Dog' so I suppose there's not much point in going backwards.
