I order rooted cuttings of fuchsias from Earthworks and geranium rooted cuttings from Geraniaceae. They send these small plants (rooted cuttings) to me and they do quite well. I wonder if we would want to send things like this? We could take the small plants out of their cups they were growing in and wrap them in wet newspaper or moss. Then put a small plastic baggie over the small wrapped root ball. a rubber band could secure it. If we allowed these, then I would be able to send coleus which wouldn't travel well as just a fresh cutting. Begonia cuttings and other house plants would probably travel well as plain cuttings. I'm in Iowa and we were hit well by last August''s derecho so I lost all my fuchsia and most of my geraniums or I could have sent them. Share with me your ideas on what we can send and how. Thanks!
