I agree on the phal. My first was a 'Just add Ice' talk about easy, once a week put 3 ice cubes on the 'dirt' and that's it. When I add food to it, I make a gallon pot of it and pour into 3 ice cube slots then water the orchid. Easy peasy! Then I designate an ice cube try and fill it with the food and freeze it for another time. Or for one of my other orchids. It seems to work on all of them. Just remember that they hate sitting in any kind of water.

Mango, I think it depends on how much the elders forced it on you when you were young. I only had a mild dislike for it until my 20s.

Robyn - I don't want a scrap of it around so as not to make someone think I like it because I fear they'll give me more!

Robyn - both of the orchid talks I attended said the ice cube thing was dangerous because of the COLD. But if yours are acclimated to it, I wouldn't change a thing. I plan to air grow mine, with a quick dip each morning into warm water. It must dry out before night.
SHOW ME YOUR CRITTERS! I have a critter page over at Cubits. http://cubits.org/crittergarde...
