I'm wondering about the same color issue with nicotiana Perfume series. I wintersowed them. I have lots of sprouts in the jug of red. The purple has 3 tiny sprouts. I know the seeds were separate packs from different companies, but I don't know which companies. And I'm wondering if red just sprouts earlier, easier than purple, or if the purple seeds were duds.
