Hi Shapshftr,

" I have a lot more but I am not allowed to post links on here. "

As a matter of policy, new members are not allowed to post links, but after you have been here for a while you will be allowed to post links.

" The table given below indicates that with the increase in the number of alternate cycles of red and far red light treatments ending with red light, the percentage of seed germination enhances significantly. "

Was that "table given below" in a link that got blocked? Incidentally, you can Edit a message after you post it. At least older members can do that, and as far as I know, new members can edit their messages also.

Just out of curiosity, do you think that red and far red light requirements are given on the seed packets? Should any light requirements be given on seed packets? I am going downstairs now to our utility room to plant some more indoor zinnias. They will be under 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ProMix, which is reasonably opaque and blocks light. I do plant them under my old T8 fluorescent lights, so they will "see" light as soon as they emerge in 2 to 6 days. I grow and breed zinnias as a hobby. Thumbs up

ZM
I tip my hat to you.
