I have had Darius for many years in my fence bed. It gets sun in the morning and shade the rest of the day. Darius has had tons of competition from vinca and other plants. But he just keeps blooming reliably. I think it's a nice color, mine is a darker version, probably all the shade and acidity from the oak tree just above it.
