Rita, Pasta sauce is fancy to be featured on TV. Yours includes bonus of meat sauce!

While I read messages, Tamron Hall Show was on TV. A young actress, in the new Tom and Jerry movie,
got kudos for making her pasta sauce, Just sauce and noodles, no meat!

I watched and copied the recipe to share! She sauteed seasoning items, onion and shallots, then added the canned tomatoes. I'm sure yall's with fresh garden tomatoes is much more flavor-full!

My cabbage and potatoes are in fast-cooking slow cooker. I wanted to add chicken broth. Though the large container of chicken broth is on back of top pantry shelf. So I just took a small can of chicken noodle soup off the bottom shelf. So this may be vegetable soup.

DH said he is planning to cook eggs. So I put 2 of the chicken sausages with peppers in the pot with the soup. Then if he wants to add sausage to eggs, they will be warm and adding flavor to soup!

Rita, I"m sure you cook a perfect pasta sauce. Here is the tv version!

Tomato Pasta Sauce

2, 28oz cans of whole peeled tomatoes
1 stick of butter
1 whole red onion
1 whole small shallot
5 garlic cloves
1 parmesan rind
Dash of red chili pepper
Angel hair pasta
Salt
Shaved parmesan
DIRECTIONS:

Add 2 cans of tomatoes, 1 red onion, shallots peeled, garlic cloves peeled, parmesan rind, pinch of crushed red pepper, salt into a large saucepan or pot over medium-heat.
Stir the ingredients with a spoon, and bring to a simmer. Break up tomatoes as it cooks. Simmer for 45 min to an hour.
Boil salted water and cook angel hair pasta and stir. Angel hair is quick!
Add finished sauce to cooked pasta on a serving plate, still hot.
Garnish with grated parmesan
