Thank you for the reply. I see what you mean about Thai Sunset, but the green seems to be solid on those. The green parts on this and the one totally green leaf seem to have the classic Painted Lady patterning. It is so strange though! Thank you for your feedback as someone who is very experienced with Painted Ladies. Have you ever seen a Painted Lady with sectional variegation before? Occums razor would dictate I have something mislabeled and not a random very rare plant, but I've asked some other groups and so far I've hit dead ends. I agree that it does look a bit like a self header but it is still pretty small. As far as the adventitious roots, I should mention that I live in the mountains of Southern Oregon. It is VERY dry here and I only have wood heat so my house is extra dry (even with humidifiers). Many of my bigger plants that should have a lot only have a couple. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Painted Lady. Based on your experience I'll keep looking for other leads if you've never seen this before.
