I think skunks are adorable ...........from a distance
they have very tender feet and you might try some rose canes or berry (blackberry /raspberry )cane something with thorns .
Place them in the area you don't want them to go like under a porch etc..
We use to have skunks around here , but I think the resident horned owl got them all
