I am seeing conflicting information about growing this variety from seed. More sites say that it's better to start these indoors. But some other places are saying that rudbeckia needs a period of cold stratification, so that should make it a good candidate for winter sowing, right? Please share your experiences with this variety--either winter sowing or starting indoors. Thanks for your help!
