If not, what do you recommend?
I got some old garden area that gets over run with weeds. I don't do much with that space anymore. Too old. I was hoping to plant some asparagus there and maybe it will grow under natural conditions in zone 6.
What do you think is a good care free crop that just grows? I can water in a drought, but that is about it other than harvest some.
