Hello all and a very good morning, afternoon or evening to you depending on where you are! Smiling <3

I have a question re bird's nest ferns. I normally stay away from them but I was given one and while mostly neglected, it's still alive. Due to its tenacity, I want to try and take really good care of it now. I had this rather uninformed idea to place it in a huge pot and then remembered they are epiphytic so will most likely not appreciate the proposed accommodations I have for it.

That said, I am going to move it into a much, much smaller pot into a substrate of Black Gold and orchid mix. I was also thinking of placing it on a humidity tray. That said, can folks here confirm that

1) Growing in this large (though beautiful) pot is a very bad idea
2) My proposed substrate idea is a good idea.
3) That placing in a north window will be ample light

Any thoughts, ideas, advice, etc. from those growing this plant would be much, much appreciated.

Thank you all and many blessings,
Benny
