Hi,
I should have spent many hours, of the many, many hours I spent online and stuck at home, on looking at google photos and a hard drive of even older photos, print what is good, discard what is not.
We showed up for neighborhood 'recreation area' cleanup, but several other men brought pickups and bright and early got a lot of fallen branches and hanging stuff loaded for the dump. That was the bulk of todays plan, so, very easy on me, I just pulled some branches from a patch for loading. Autumn Olive is in a patch there and tends to have whole branches dead- I guess it is too shady for it, that's fine.
So I'm free for the day in my own cleanup-- looking at two older bushes that I think were bad ideas years ago, and trying to get the energy to tackle removing, it is a tough job. I've done lighter cleanup instead.
Plant it and they will come.
