so pretty! My regular peonies are barely nubs.
Really nice out for working today, 50s, sunny, no wind. I did tackle the lilac and sweetshrub aka Carolina allspice. My thought is remove older shrubs that need rejuvenation, place young ones that won't need pruning for a while. Bring some sense back to the madness I created over the last 30 years of planting random new stuff every year around the yard. I do love the planting process, the sight of young growth, the dreams of future prettiness.. Also the excuse "too tired to cook dinner"...
Plant it and they will come.
