seilMI said:Yes, Alicia, standard roses are tree roses. Since there are two grafts to them the root stock could possibly grow from either graft if the grafted variety dies off. I do not know how common that is though. I have had many tree roses that have died on me because of my cold winters and have never had a one start to grow the root stock as a result.
