The flat white piece was a paving stone and no - it is at the moment not mounted on that. They had it glued on to that with loctite but it came off as they moved it. As you see it was then sitting on top of a pedestal but I would not want it that high, the maximum I would want it off the ground is about 8 inches. A circular base of about 15 inches diameter would seem to be ideal, which is why we are considering putting pavers on top of each other (with loctite). I appreciate you all are helping me think this through.
