Both look delicious, Margaret.

Tonight I made thick bone-in pork chops. These things are at least an inch thick. I marinated them in a chili-lime mix, thinking I'd go with a Mexican style stir fry with peppers onions over rice. Changed my mind to use up stuff I have. I did them in the braiser with small potatoes, carrots, onions, and mushrooms. I cooked the chops through (because my husband won't eat pink pork). It was good. Sauce was excellent (remainder of marinade, a little broth, l little white wine).
