Ok, so the red lobelia is hardy in zone 3, blue in zone 4, both for damp to wet soil... so they'd be good for my water gardens. I'd take 5 of both, or 10 if you order just one of them. I'll try to remember to pull them out of the pot over winter, which is where I've gone wrong in the past I bet. They do need to have their crowns above water, so I've half submerged them.
